What size hot water system does a family of 4 need?
As a starting point, for continuous electric look at 125 to 160 litres. For off peak electric, 250 to 315 litres. For gas storage, 135 to 170 litres. For instantaneous gas, a 25 to 32 litre per minute unit. We confirm the right sizing after checking your actual usage, number of bathrooms and fuel connection.

Instantaneous gas is popular for homes that want endless hot water and less floor space used up. Gas storage suits larger households on natural gas.
